Year 8 Curriculum
In Year 8, students continue to build on the knowledge, skills and learning habits
developed in Year 7 through a broad and engaging curriculum.
Full-Year Subjects
Students in Year 8 study the following core subjects across the full year:
- Religious Education
- English
- Mathematics (Accelerated or Mainstream)
- Science
- Humanities (one semester of History and one semester of Geography)
- Health and Physical Education
- Italian
- Visual Arts
- Digital Technology
Semester-Based Subjects
Students also participate in a range of semester-length specialist subjects designed to develop creativity, practical skills and confidence across different learning areas:
- Food Technology
- Materials Technology
- Drama
- Music
