AFL Academy

The AFL Academy partnership between CRC North Keilor, CRC Sydenham and the Western Bulldogs is an exciting new chapter for young athletes in Melbourne’s west. This elite pathway program has been created for students who are passionate about Australian Rules Football and dream of one day playing AFL or AFLW at the highest level.

Beginning at CRC North Keilor from Years 7–10 and continuing through CRC Sydenham for Years 11–12, students will have the opportunity to be part of a complete football and educational journey designed to support their development both on and off the field. This unique partnership provides students with direct access to professional AFL experiences, specialised training opportunities, leadership development, wellbeing education, strength and conditioning, and mentorship from the Western Bulldogs football club.

Our vision is simple — to help dreams become reality. We want to inspire and guide the next generation of footballers by creating genuine pathways for students to pursue their passion for the game and one day represent the Western Bulldogs at senior AFL or AFLW level.

Students involved in the academy will learn what it takes to succeed in elite sporting environments while developing confidence, discipline, resilience, teamwork and leadership skills that will support them throughout life. The academy is committed to building a strong culture of excellence, professionalism and community pride, where every student-athlete is encouraged to strive for greatness and become the very best version of themselves.
